Use Self-Scheduling Workflows on Your Experience Site
Make it easier for patients to schedule appointments by using pre-built
self-scheduling and canceling workflows, and adding them to your Experience Site pages.
-
Set Up Static Resources for Appointment Reason Records
Set up static resources to display the images used in FlexCards for Appointment Reasons. Static resources can be used only within your Salesforce org, so you can’t host content here for other apps or websites. -
Handle Asynchronous Self-Service Requests
Sometimes self-service appointments require a person to intervene. Set up an assignment process so that someone can resolve those cases. -
Set Organization-Wide Defaults for Self-Scheduling Workflows
Set object permissions and control access to your data and records based on user types and profiles. -
Create Sharing Rules for Self-Scheduling Workflows
Create sharing rules to manage access to appointment scheduling objects that have external access set to private. -
Enable Self-Scheduling Workflows for External Use
Components in your org such as Visualforce pages or Apex callouts can access external URLs only if they’re listed on the Remote Site Settings page. To enable access to Lightning Web Components, update the relevant remote site settings in your org. -
Create Pages on Your Experience Site
The prebuilt workflows need container pages where they can run. Create Experience Site pages for the workflows that you need and drag the pre-built workflows onto these new pages.
