Salesforce Scheduler requires a Named Credential but doesn't use it. To create a mock Named Credential:
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Named Credential, and then select Named Credential.
    2. Click New Named Credential.
    3. Enter a Label of Appointment Management and a Name of Appointment_Management.
    4. The URL must be properly formatted, but the value doesn't matter. You can use https://www.example.com.
    5. Click Save.
  5. Enter the role of the Assigned Provider, for example Primary Care Physician. The Assigned Provider Role value must map to the assigned providers’ relationship with their patients defined in the Reciprocal Role record. See Set Up Reciprocal Roles and Relationships for Intelligent Appointment Management.
  6. Select Is Active.
You can have multiple appointment configurations, but only one can be active at a time.

A configuration record isn’t active by default. You must manually activate it and deactivate any other configuration records. At least one configuration record must be active for Intelligent Appointment Management to work.

    Important

  7. Save the configuration.
