jCreate Care Provider Facility Specialty Records
Create a Care Provider Facility Specialty record to associate providers with their care
specialties. Creating this record helps patients find a provider by the specialties they offer at
a facility.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Intelligent Appointment Management, and then select Intelligent Appointment Management Settings.
- Expand the Get Started with Intelligent Appointment Management section and click Create Care Provider Facility Specialty.
- Enter a Provider Specialty Facility name.
- Select the practitioner’s Specialty or create a new one.
- Select the Practitioner Facility where the practitioner practices the specialty.
- Select Primary Specialty if this record is the practitioner’s primary specialty at this facility.
- Select the Specialty Role for the practitioner at this facility.
- For Effective From, enter the date from which this provider facility specialty is effective.
- For Effective To, enter the date after which this provider facility specialty is no longer effective.
- For Source System, enter the source of the external system for this record, if applicable.
- For Source System Identifier Field, enter the ID of the external record on the source system, if applicable.
- To activate the care provider facility specialty select Active.
- Save your work.
Sync data for Provider Search to confirm that the Healthcare Provider Facility Specialty data is shown in the Care Provider Searchable Field object.
