Create a Care Specialty record to associate a care specialty with a practitioner.
Associating a care specialty with a practitioner helps patients find providers that offer a
particular specialty.

From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Intelligent Appointment Management
, and then select Intelligent Appointment Management
Settings.

Expand the Get Started with Intelligent Appointment Management section and click
Create Care Specialty.

Enter the external system Specialty Code for the specialty.

Enter the care specialty name.

Enter a description of the specialty.

Select the type of care specialty.

Select the Specialty Usage option that indicates this specialty is related to the
practitioner.

For Effective From, enter the date from which this specialty is effective.

For Effective To, enter the data after which this specialty is no longer effective.

Select Active to activate the Care Specialty.

Save your work.
